Uncommon Grounds: Michael Plunkett [Coffee with Writers]

In this series, we sat down with Michael Plunkett and discussed his passion for literature. Specifically, we talked about when writing became an outlet for him, significant moments he recognized his growth as a writer, some advice for up and coming writers, and his experience with an MFA program and literary journal.

Michael Plunkett is a writer from Long Island. He served in the United States Marine Corps and after working in the financial industry for Fidelity Investments and Morgan Stanley for several years began pursuing fiction writing full time. He currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
