Collection: sometimes i go away
Reservists carry a lot of baggage (but only once a month and two weeks in the summer). You’re widely considered a subpar warfighter. Steven M Callahan was a reservist and “sometimes i go away” takes the idea of being a part time Marine and reflects on the hardships of the push and pull lifestyle, having to go away sometimes and spending seven months in Afghanistan, and trying to return to normal civilian life with little to no time to process. It’s a reflection on what it is like to go away, the journey that service takes us on and ultimately how to find the way home again.
This is a pre-order. Books and shirts will ship before or after the last week of June.
